Hi, I have a question concerning eating steaks. Is it ok to eat a medium rare steak? I know it is written not to eat blood, but was unsure if this included the pink fluid in a medium rare steak. I was looking for a teaching on this subject. Thanks for any help you can provide.

This is myoglobin and not blood.
Does it not depend on how the animal was killed and\or drained? Can you expound on the above answer please?
